The ceaseless din of busy lives has killed our
acquaintance with silence. Consequently we are stressed and
anxious. When we meditate we do so in the promise that we
“enter the secret temple of our deepest
belonging. Only in this temple can our hungriest longing
find stillness and peace.
(John O Donoghue )
Mary Teresa teaches the ancient practice of Meditation as the path
to presence and to being at ease with the unsolved and the
unfinished in our lives. By combining Eastern meditation techniques
with the Christian prayer tradition the beginner and the experienced
meditator journeys into silence
-
by
resting on the pillow of one's breath
-
disconnecting from the endless stream of thought that imprisons
-
experiencing the Sacred, God, Essence, Ground of All Being, in
oneself and in all creation
-
letting go of resistance - forgiving the limitation experienced
in the Now
-
coming to our true life from present moment awareness
-
.......so our hungriest longing finds stillness and peace
“You are here to enable the Divine purpose of the
Universe to unfold. That is how important you are.” Eckhart Tolle
